Has anyone noticed how unresponsive the mods have been over at TA? Does anyone know what's going on? I do understand that they all have lives and I really don't expect them to be online 24/7, but I am kinda getting impatient with the challenge results... And wouldn't mind at all if they would at least somehow inform us that it might take longer than planned or that they're really busy and can't get on at all, but it's a little creepy to just see no updates at all.
Btw, how's the validating going? Any delays?

i agree-its very weird.
prehaps they just can't decide on the winner? but they told me it would take a little over a week and now its been a month. its very very weird. As to the validating, i have auto-validation so i have no idea if they are or aren't.

I've too become very impatient for the challenge winners to be announced.

But, yeah, it does seem weird how absent they've been. It could just be about school coming back into session. Who knows? I have auto-validation, too, but it is weird to go onto Most Recent and see the same stories up that were there 3 days ago. :/

The writing, banner, and art challenge that ended a month ago. They still haven't announced a winner... or anything else, for that matter. I doubt it's because they can't decide -- they would have said something about it long ago.
I also have auto-validation so I have no idea... (haha, not that I've been updating.)

I don't know. I've got no hand in the challenge. I've just sent an email to all the mods asking about it, so hopefully something'll get done soon.

yeah I've been noticing all that too. I usually check once a day on the most recent category, and I see like 1 more story validated. I'm sure there are so many more waiting. I'm not as curios about the contest, but it would be fun to see who actually wins.
by the way, how do you get auto-validation? that would be SO much easier!

I think to get auto-validation you have to prove that you follow the rules, your grammer and spelling are 99.9% perfect, and nothing else is wrong with the chapters you submit for validation. Because that way the mods dont need to go through the stories by the authors they already know are fine. Usually those people are the authors who have been with the site for a while or have proved themselves very fast.

I'm guessing that I would have to be with the site for quite a bit of time to get that then. I do all that stuff. I've never disobeyed any rules. All my stuff is run through spell and grammar check even when it doesn't need to be, and I've never had anything rejected. it's not like I submit anything inappropriate. I'm only 13, I wouldn't write stuff like that. Maybe I'll just wait and see what happens. I wonder if it has to do with the number of stories you have....?

No, no, it's nothing to do with the number of stories you have. I think the mods grant auto-validation to a group of people at the same time when they start having too many stories to handle. They haven't granted it to anyone for a long time, so don't feel that it's your fault :)
