Wow!!! This adds a whole new depth to what Edward says in Twilight about Esme being "so happy she could choke" at watching their simple touches! And, it really encapsulates how a mother feels. I have 3 children, and last year my eldest had his first crush, and although he's very young and it was nothing more than a crush, I felt the same way when hearing his crush's name would bring a blush to his cheeks! You're an absolutely wonderful writer!

Author's Response:

Thank you, again.  I always felt that the theme of matural love was so powerful in the Saga.  Esme and Bella's love for their children really tugged at my heart, more than almost anything else.  And Elizabeth Masen's story added to that idea of the ultimate self-sacrifice, to keep fighting for her son even as she was seconds from death was too remarkable to go un-noticed.  I'm glad that as a mother, you liked it. :)

THEN BY ALL MEANS!!! BE HAPPY!

You write beautifully!

"Don't worry, be happy!"

Author's Response:

With all these reviews, I'm very happy. :)

Lol... Once again, your writing flawlessly captures the essence of the character! Well done!

Thank you again. :)

Now which are they? The heroin or the chocolate? The chocolate I'll give freely, heroin, not so much. "Just say no, and all that."

I would echo my sentiments from my reviews in your essays from Edward's POV, and from Alice's POV, but in an effort to avoid redundancy, I'll limit myself by asking, no, BEGGING you to write a story sooner or later! You write so well, you could almost ghostwrite for Stephenie Meyer!

Author's Response:

Reviews are everything to me. But I'd like to think of them more as Edward's brand of heroin! ;)

rn

Thank you.  I have two stories in the making, but I find fanfiction such an enjoyable way to hone my writing technique.  Reviewers like yourself always make it worthwhile!

Well, if reviews are better than chocolate, Here's a few hershey bars for ya! Like I said in my review of your essay from Edward's POV, you capture the caracters beautifully, and your words even manage to flow as seamlessly as Stephenie Meyer's work. Truely, your writings are a complement to the Saga, enriching it even further than what was originally written!

Author's Response:

Thanks for feeding my addiction. ;)

rn

I'm glad you liked this one too.  Comparisons to Stephenie are as valuable and precious to me as gold dust. :)

OUTSTANDING work! I really and truely feel like I'm getting a glimpse into Edward's mind, and can FEEL his perspective as if it were a tangible thing. I think your work can and will truely aid any aspiring fanfiction writer to capture the essence of the characters to help fuel their works. I know it will help mine! Keep up the amazing work!

Author's Response:

Thank you very much for the review and rating!  I'm glad you enjoyed this story.  It was my first ever attempt at Edward's perspective, but since then he's become one of my favourite characters to write. :)

Author's Response:

Reviews are better than anything to me!  Thank you! :)

I just wanted to tell you how much I love your series. I think you have done an amazing job and have stayed true to the characters. That being said I do have one constructive critisism... I "personally" think you picked the wrong scene for Rose. You did an excellent job, I think you stayed true to her character... however in my opinion Rose "grows" as a person and is also changed by Bella in the series. I would have picked the scene where she gets the call from Bella about being pregnant and or the airport when Bella and Edward get back from Esme Island. If  you decide to any more of these little "character exercises" please consider picking another scene for Rose.

I hope I didn't offend because I really LOVE your writing. Thank you. - Rin

Author's Response:

Firstly, thank you so much for your review.  And I'm always glad to recieve constructive critisism!  My main reason for writing fanfiction is to improve and develop my writing further, and concrit always helps so much.  Don't be afraid to critique my work!

rn

Secondly, I completely agree with everything you've said about Rosalie.  One of the reasons why this isn't one of my favourite pieces of writing is because it was written before Breaking Dawn was released, and I know that if I'd waited until the series was over, I'd have seen Rosalie in a very different light.  That being said, I did write a tribute to Rosalie after Breaking Dawn had been released - sort of as a way of apologising to the character in my head!  It's called "Whole" if you're interested in reading it, and it does explain Rosalie's change of heart in terms of Bella and Renesmee.

rn

Once again, thank you for reading and reviewing. :)

I was also going to write about how hard it is for Jasper to be near Bella and not kill her

Please do that now! Just do another character study

Author's Response:

I'm thinking of doing another JPOV - I've written his perspective twice now, and I liked his mind both times. :)

Reviewer: EmoryB123 (Signed) · Date: 25 Nov 2009 12:17 PM · On: Thunder

It’s like… like the thunder. Right now, the thunder is crashing around us, but none of us are soaked from the storm. Bella is surrounded by people who could kill her before she is aware of the situation. And yet, here she stands, without a broken bone in her body. Amazing. She must really love Edward. Edward must really love her.

Wow.

Author's Response:

*blush* Thanks.  I love it when people quote me back to me.  It's one of the most flattering responses I've ever had. :)

"I have a love-hate relationship with Jake" --- I can TOTALLY understand that! And your story was really good! Thanks for sharing this tidbit!

Author's Response:

I adore him sometimes... and he annoys me the majority of the time. :)

great work, I always defend Emmett and Rosalie (specially him because I also like to see the joke in everything, and I don't consider myself an idiot ;P)

Saludos

Author's Response:

Thank you for the review!  Good to know there's someone else out there who realises Emmett's value! :)

I am combing slowly through your stories and it is rather like a good box of chocolates :o)

I am loving these stories and they are all the more remarkable because you are so young (she says patronisingly). You write with a surety of touch that belongs to a far older, more experienced, person. Do you publish your original stuff anywhere? I would like to read that if possible.

Anyway, keep it up!

:o)

Author's Response:

Thank you very much for such a lovely comment.  I didn't find it patronising at all - it's much more flattering than anything else.  So far, I haven't posted any of my original fiction online, but I do have an original novel in the works.  I'm glad you're enjoying my fanfiction. :)

As always, well done. I liked how you conveyed Esme's motherly gratitude towards Bella, and how she already thought so well of her for bringing Edward to life.

Author's Response:

Thanks.  I love to write from Esme's perspective.  Maturnal love is a common theme of the Saga, and it's always fascinating to explore such characters as Esme, Elizabeth, Rosalie or Bella who really bring this theme to life.

i think you captured emmett exactly the way he is meant to be. a bit mischevious but not just an idiot like most people think. i love all your writing, and especially this series. its really interesting to see how you portray all of the characters!

Author's Response:

Thanks again!  You're completely right - that's exactly the way Emmett should be portrayed and I'm glad you thought my story did the job! :)
