Submission Rules
SUBMISSION RULES
Fiction
  1. Every chapter must be at least 500 words long. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  2. Every chapter must have proper grammar.
  3. Every chapter must have been run through spell-check. Your chapter can and will be rejected if this rule has not been followed. Not having MS Word is not an excuse -- there are good online spellcheckers here and here.
  4. Absolutely no smut. Rated R is fine, though. Just be sure to rate your story appropriately.
  5. "Untitled", "Please read me", etc. are not appropriate titles for stories. "I suck at summaries", "Just read it", etc. are not appropriate summaries. If either of these are found, the title/summary will be changed to something more appropriate, as determined by the admin.
  6. Stories must be categorized appropriately. Only put your story in one category.
  7. Use the preview button. Stories that do not have proper line breaks or paragraphs will be rejected.
  8. Summaries may not be longer than 100 words.
  9. Banners in summaries may not exceed 300x150 in size. You may only have one banner per story.
  10. Only submit one chapter at a time. More than one story is fine, but only single chapters may be submitted at a time.
  11. You must wait at least 24 hours before resubmitting a rejected piece. This is merely for my sanity and to give you all more time to revise.
  12. Do not put author's notes in the middle of your story.
  13. "Lists" are no longer allowed.
  14. If your songfic contains more lyrics than story, it will be deleted.  Songfics must contain 500 words of fic, excluding lyrics.
Poetry
  1. Poetry must be at least four lines long. Couplets and haikus are wonderful, but don't just write one per "chapter", put a couple. If necessary, I may increase the minimum.

Art
  1. ART MUST BE HAND DRAWN. No manips, headers, banners, icons, avatars, or anything like that. Taking a picture of the cover of New Moon does not constitute fanart.
  2. Art colored in a picture-editing program is perfectly acceptable.
  3. Art must be categorized appropriately. Only put your art in one category.
  4. Preview images (similar to banners) shown in the summary must not exceed 300x150 in size.
  5. Art may not exceed 800x600 in size.
