As he walked into class one day
All heads then turned to stare
Looking as a golden ray
Ocher eyes too hard to bear
As he slid into the room
And caught one eye so rare
Feelings, sudden flash of doom
Ocher eyes too hard to bear
When he sat down next to her
He could not help to glare
She became then so unsure
Ocher eyes too hard to bear
Their forbidden love’s secret
They could not share
Her life he couldn’t bet
Ocher eyes too hard to bear
Her fastened pace of heart
Was one that he could hear
Comforts as a work of art
Ocher eyes too hard to bear
Glittering as genuine gold
Giving off his gorgeous glare
Too cold for her to hold
Ocher eyes to hard to bear
His heart is cold as stone
To touch she would not dare
Neither will one feel alone
Ocher eyes too hard to bear
The stars, they breathe together
That last breath they share
Changing as the weather
Ocher eyes too hard to bear
